About Us

Who We Are

We’re 1800cabinets.com, a direct-to-consumer source for solid wood kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities. The team behind us has spent 30-plus years in this business: manufacturing, importing, wholesale, sales, and the customer-service desk. We started the company to fix one thing that always bugged us. Buying good cabinets shouldn’t mean paying showroom markup or guessing what you’re getting. So we stock cabinets we’d put in our own kitchens, price them direct, and put a real person behind every order.

Whether you’re a weekend DIYer, a designer speccing a project, or a contractor juggling three job sites, you get the same thing from us: straight answers, solid cabinets, and help when you need it. We’re based in the U.S. and ship across the contiguous 48 states.

Direct to Consumer Pricing

Here’s why our prices look the way they do: The usual path a cabinet takes (manufacturer to distributor to showroom to you) adds a markup at every stop. We cut those stops out. Your cabinets ship straight from the manufacturer to your door, so you’re paying for the cabinets, not the showroom floor they’d otherwise sit on. For most kitchens that’s a real saving versus the big-box equivalent, and we’ll show you the actual number on your project, not a vague promise.

Sourcing and Quality

We curate our selection and we hold them to a spec. Our sourcing team works hand-in-hand with manufacturing partners we’ve vetted, so a Shaker box from one collection is built the same careful way as the next. Here’s exactly what’s standard across every collection, no asterisks:

Two Ways to Get Them: RTA or Pre-Assembled

Every cabinet we stock comes two ways, so you can trade a little money for a little time, whichever you’d rather spend.

Same cabinet either way: identical construction, hardware, and finish. The only difference is who does the assembly, and when.

Ready to Assemble (RTA)

Ships flat-packed; you (or your crew) put it together on site. The lower-cost option, and not a hard job. See our RTA Assembly Guide.

Cost: Included in base price

Pre-Assembled

Arrives built and ready to hang the day it lands. Worth it when your time’s tighter than your budget.

Cost: +$35.00 per cabinet
